Description

As Direct Service Workers, we provide personal care services to the disabled and elderly. We work in assisted living centers as well as directly in clients’ homes. It is our responsibility to ensure our clients receive daily care services without any struggle. Our primary duties involve administering medication, assisting clients to keep personal hygiene, preparing for the meals, keeping clients’ company, and performing minor housekeeping activities. We help our clients to move around and engage in simple physical exercises to keep them healthy. We also monitor the general health and wellbeing of our clients and we report to medical practitioners.

Core tasks:

  • providing personal care services to the elderly and disabled
  • ensuring our clients receive all the needed daily care services
  • preparing meals and ensuring personal hygiene for our clients
  • helping clients to perform simple physical exercises
