About Director, Information Technology

What does a Director, Information Technology do?

As Directors Information Technology, we are responsible for overseeing and controlling the company's information and communications strategy. We receive all essential training and development to carry out obligations to the appropriate standards. We manage the information technology and communications department's staff. Contributing to the development of the firm's strategic and business strategies is also a part of our duty. We support the mission and key objectives of the organization. Working as Directors Information Technology, we are responsible for creating an annual business strategy. We evaluate business plan implementation to verify that financial targets are met. We create an operational budget for the department. Finally, we negotiate service level agreements with internal customers and service providers.

Core tasks:

  • negotiating contracts with external providers
  • monitoring service delivery programs
  • keeping updated on all developments in IT
  • developing effective help desk
