Job Description
What is a Director of Business Development? New Business Development - win and grow new client relationships. What is a typical day like for a Director of Business Development? Prospect by telephone, email, social media and industry conferences to hospitals, hospital systems and rehab facilities Expert at cultivating relationships with decision makers in client organizations (eg. CEO, CNO, SVP HR, CFO and procurement executives) to secure new business, new client accounts and to maximize the value delivered by PassportUSA with or without available candidates Responsible for managing geographic territory with named customer targets On-going management and development of personal sales pipeline, forecast accuracy, account planning and maintaining account detail in our CRM platform Support all stages of the sales process, maintaining sales control and guiding internal teams to collaborate and rally around development of innovative solutions to meet or exceed identified sales targets Shepherd all client wins, ensuring a smooth transition into candidate selection and onboarding Act as a steward for good business and grow the client relationship by ensuring flawless execution Possess an in-depth understanding of PassportUSAs services and differentiation in the marketplace Act as a trusted advisor to client prospects by demonstrating a deep understanding of their business drivers, organizational imperatives, workforce management challenges (e.g. new units, EMR implementation, excess overtime, looming retirements) and offer solutions utilizing persuasive win themes and effective sales strategies Negotiate pricing and terms within acceptable guidelines outlined by management working with PPUSAs Legal team Proactively market available candidates to secure new contracts and identify and secure new business in facilities and departments where we are not actively providing a long-term workforce solution Who is the right person for this role? 4 Year degree and/or sales experience Ability to develop a compelling value proposition, develop effective proposals and presentations with decision makers Proven ability to initiate, develop and grow C-level and senior relationships within target client organizations; influence purchase and buying decisions Expert sales acumen, critical thinking skills, ability to be solution oriented, drive to win and executive presence Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value added, insightful and strategic insight into their workforce management challenges Knowledge of the full life cycle sales process from prospecting to close, prescribes to funnel management Travel required assume up to 40% annually Previous experience working in healthcare staffing, business process outsourcing, sales and/or Account management Previous experience recruiting, prospecting or on-boarding foreign educated nurses is a plus Experience with Hubspot and Microsoft Dynamics is a plus Performance Standards Sales New customer acquisition and monthly number of qualified job orders secured Pricing, assignment lengths, and other contract terms negotiated Why Health Carousel?
