As Directors of Community Relations, we are responsible for managing the relationships with the population and communities around the company or organization. We organize local events, attend community meetings, and create programs for community outreach. We focus on building positive relationships with local residents and businesses. We assist a company or an organization to successfully interact with the community. Developing a favorable climate for business or organization is part of our daily responsibilities. We develop a strategy to make positive contributions and raise awareness for the company. We act as a key point of contact for individual residents and customers in a local area. Working as Directors of Community Relations, we effectively communicate with individuals at various levels, discover issues affecting them, and address pressing concerns. We also plan community relations programs and manage support staff.
