About Director of Food and Beverage

What does a Director of Food and Beverage do?

As Directors of Food and Beverage, we are responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all food and beverage services and operations. We direct staff to ensure optimal guest experience. We mentor and coach managers and staff members of various outlets to effectively handle customer issues. Managing all health and safety protocols is also part of our duty. We train ambassadors to courteously welcome customers and provide the required information. Working as Directors of Food and Beverage, we are also responsible for managing labor and other costs. Finally, we ensure staff maintains a clean working environment for optimal working.

Core tasks:

  • collaborating with VP's of revenue to ensure maximum profitability
  • supporting food and beverage management with advanced training
  • ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
  • supervising the effective execution of food and beverage operations
