We are looking for an exceptionally thoughtful, curious, and data focused Acquisition Marketing expert to lead our growth efforts across the full acquisition funnel.

The Director of Growth Marketing will lead our omni-channel growth strategy. This role will oversee our digital performance marketing strategy (key focus areas: paid search, paid social, display, and affiliates), SEO, as well as all mass reach channels including, connected TV, Audio, and out-of-home. The key objective is to drive revenue and generate new customers across both DTC through getquip.com, as well as with our retail partners.

This role will partner closely with E-commerce, Brand Marketing, Channel Marketing, Product, and Analytics. The ideal candidate will have experience launching and measuring advertising and marketing campaigns across channels and strategies, including via owned channels and retailer/distributors, media buying and experience managing multi-million dollar ad campaign budgets is required. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of a full-funnel approach and who can optimize the media mix accordingly. This role will further be responsible for vetting vendors and tools to add to our acquisition stack

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ownership of customer acquisition results, methods and forecasting
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a team of growth marketing managers and analysts as well as multiple external agencies and vendors.
  • Grow customer file through highly targeted customer acquisition campaigns - establishing CAC thresholds and ROAS targets by channel based on profit margins and customer LTV.
  • Develop full-funnel acquisition marketing strategy, optimizing core and proven channels while consistently testing new channels and formats.
  • Implement comprehensive test & learn strategy
  • Work closely with Brand Marketing to ensure consistency in messaging and with Channel Marketing to align with retail marketing calendar and in-store activations.
  • Analyze and optimize campaign performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis; develop insights to inform future strategy
  • Manage and aggregate channel level reporting to help build an integrated view of our acquisition landscape, and advertising effectiveness through multiple lenses of attribution.
  • Work with the broader marketing, business development and data teams to make informed decisions about attribution and to identify high value cohorts, audiences or partnerships
REQUIREMENTS
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • 5+ years of growth or media planning and strategy experience required (client or agency side)
  • Possess exceptional knowledge of SEM, SEO, Paid Social, and Display strategies and industry best practices.
  • Strong understanding of offline advertising and media effectiveness and measurement
  • Experience in an e-commerce or DNVB business, and in an omni-channel environment with retail/wholesale presence.
  • Experienced in working with various attribution and marketing-mix models
  • Expertise in building marketing channel forecasts and manage cost within the budget guidelines of the company
  • Experienced working with a large and complex customer base
  • Customer-centric mindset and the ability to understand quip's target consumer
  • Strong analytical capability with experience in forecasting and website analytics
  • Strong project management, attention to detail, and a no-task-too-small mentality
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field required
