As Directors of Library Services, we are responsible for managing public library collection and providing library services to community organizations. We draft and recommend policies to the library boards and plan for the implementation of library goals and objectives. We direct the operations of technical services and supervise adult outreach services within the library. Evaluating and administering library programs is one of our main responsibilities. We direct the development and maintenance of library collection of books and other library materials. Working as v Directors of Library Services, we oversee the development, repair, and maintenance of library buildings. We also provide staff support to the library board of directors.
