What does a Director OF Logistics do?

As Directors of Logistics, we are responsible for ensuring that goods reach their destination safely. We monitor the day-to-day operations of the logistics department and keep track of timetables and costs. Traveling to manufacturing plants or distribution centers is part of our daily responsibilities. We ensure clients receive the same thing they ordered. We carefully monitor and manage costs and analyze numerous job postings. We oversee staff and ensure smooth operations. Some of us are also involved in recruiting and hiring procedures. We also look for a number of ways to improve the transportation process.
