About Director OF Major Gifts

What does a Director OF Major Gifts do?

As directors of major gifts, we perform research and develop ways to link donors' philanthropic priorities with services, projects, and volunteers. To support sponsorship programs, we plan and deliver different nature presentations. We respond to donor and institutional needs and goals. We build corporate and individual donor involvement plans to assist in developing positive communities. Also, our responsbility includes ensuring annual partnerships to maximize revenue.

Core tasks:

  • managing efforts to recognize and grow big donors, tree donors, and intended donors
  • creating and organizing tailored fundraising programs and events for donors
  • designing and implementing projects to renew and update donors
