What does a Director OF Medical Affairs do?

As Directors of Medical Affairs, we develop and execute medical strategies. We manage the Clinical Applications team. We provide direction for the development and support of the delivery of medical and scientific data across the enterprise. We oversee the analysis of user needs. We advise and guide the scientific direction of the Company. We provide thought leadership to elevate the brand in the marketplace. We combine academic science with business practices to drive growth for the business. We also represent the Company at conferences and other events. We support marketing by providing input on both the design and content of marketing materials

Core tasks:

  • mentor and educate internal teams and customers on clinical results and potential responses
  • collaborate with legal team to ensure accuracy of all documentation
  • facilitate on-site training
  • develop effective relationships with key opinion leaders
  • participate in and support standard development activities
  • develop medical expert panels
  • conduct training on Medical topics
