About Director OF People

What does a Director OF People do?

As Directors of People, we have the responsibility for the development and implementation of our organization’s human resource activities. These include policy implementation, employee relations, coaching, employee/management development, and performance management. We monitor compliance with HR policies and consult with employees and leadership about policies. In collaboration with the leadership team, we identify organizational development needs. We assist managers in determining hiring needs and partner with the recruiting team on filling positions. It is also one of our duties to manage onboarding, training, and development programs for all employees. By conducting exit interviews, we analyze and report trends and provide recommendations to the management. Besides, we ensure that rewards are aligned to performance. Working as Directors of People, we report to the Chief People Officer.
