What does a Director OF Philanthropy do?

As directors of philanthropy, we create methods to meet raising support objectives and make practical income. We plan to collect donations and approach potential new helpers for assistance. Long term relationships with current donors, especially those who might make a significant donation, are part of our work. We plan practical methods for increasing revenue for the organization by meaningful giving, including planned gifts. We regularly evaluate and report on major gift accomplishments. As directors of philanthropy, we also find potential donors and individuals who can help and support the needy.

Core tasks:

  • supporting the contributor development and sales exercises
  • keeping an individual arrangement of significant blessing contributors and possibilities
  • checking and creating program cost financial plans
