Grueling hours unless you are favored by the Director. Upper management will manage through screaming and bullying. Stress overload. You can be let go even though you manage your team to make it’s goals and make it a better work place for them. I still get calls and messages telling me how awful it got after I was fired for doing my job. Your upper management will frequently lie. While pay is okay, a lot to put up with for it. No sour grapes here, I worked here for 16 years and felt relieved when I was let go. I was a leader over a fantastic group of people - from technicians, field service managers, and warehouse. Everyone above you is garbage.
Pros and Cons
Decent pay, bonuses if you can make your goals, you can make positive change in your teams’ lives
You can’t trust upper management, a lot of stress, a lot of long hours, knowing you are expendable.
