Job Description

We are hiring for a Full-Time Dishwasher from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. And every other weekend!

Position Summary

The Dishwasher performs dishwashing and other cleaning duties to ensure residents' dining needs are met in accordance with all laws, regulations and company standards. Reports to the Dining Services Director.

Qualifications

Must have high school diploma or equivalent
Minimum age 18 years old (OSHA requirement)
Prior food services experience preferred

Primary Job Responsibilities

Loads and unloads dishwasher
Hand washes/scrubs pots, pans, utensils and items not suited for commercial dishwashing machine
Assists in daily cleaning (i.e., walk in refrigerator, stock room, ovens, sinks, floors)
Records temperatures of dish machine daily to ensure proper sanitation levels
Removes trash and inserts new trash bags
Assists with serving if staffing requires
Delivers meals to residents? rooms

About the Dishwasher role

Food Service - Other Dishwasher

As Dishwashers, we work to take on some supportive kitchen and janitorial tasks. We are responsible for washing dishes, bussing tables, emptying trash receptacles and appliances, and restocking items. Performing other tasks to ensure the hygiene and cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas is also our job. We are responsible for preparing dining areas for the next shift. We clean machines and appliances in the kitchen area, such as pots, pans, mixers, and coffee makers.

unloading and storing groceries and other deliveries
reporting kitchen accidents and food safety codes violation
ensuring availability of clean dishes and resetting dining areas
maintaining trash cans throughout the shift and removing full trashcans and boxes at the end of each shift
