Headquartered in Celebration, Florida, the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) is a timeshare vacation program that is operated and owned by Disney Vacation Development which is a subsidiary of Disney Signature Appearances which is a division of Disney Parks, Products and Experiences, a wing of the Walt Disney Company. The company allows buying real estate in a DVC resort via a system called flexible points-based membership. At present, there are around 220,000 members of the club. The first vacation club property was inaugurated in December 1991 at Walt Disney World. The vacation club program’s website gives deep insights into the program’s benefits, membership options, destination, vacation planning, and more.
