About Distribution Specialist

What does a Distribution Specialist do?

As Distribution Specialists, we are responsible for receiving and storing goods for the company. We perform inventory duties and are accountable for the loss of goods. We ensure adequate levels of necessary supplies at all times, load and unload vehicles, and maintain stock inventories. Operating forklifts, managing orders, and checking the accuracy of delivered products are part of our daily responsibilities. We communicate with suppliers and customers, plan or direct the actual movement of a product, and coordinate sale distribution by establishing territories, quotas, and goals. Working as Distribution Specialists, we analyze sale statistics and determine sale potential and inventory requirements. We also monitor the preferences of customers.
