About Donor Recruiter

What does a Donor Recruiter do?

As Donor Recruiters, we are responsible for developing lists of prospective donor groups by using organizational, professional, and industrial directories, contacting the respective groups and explaining the requirements and benefits of participation in the donor program, and distributing promotional material to motivate groups to participate in donor programs. In addition, we consult records in order to answer questions, monitor activity, and resolve any issues that could arise within donor groups.

Core tasks:

  • visiting prospective and participating donor groups to discuss donor programs
  • keeping records of organizations participating in donor programs
  • managing various aspects, such as available space, staffing, and anticipated number of donors
  • preparing reports on donor programs and recruitment activities
