About Donor Relations Manager

What does a Donor Relations Manager do?

As Donor Relations Managers, we develop appropriate fund-raising budgets and objectives by managing and reconciling expense accounts, preparing and tracking BERFs, purchasing orders, and office supplies orders. We use FRS, ARIBA, and DMAS to create and implement customized stewardship plans for major donors while managing the solicitation of appointments with fundraisers and administrators. We assist donors, prospects, and other select individuals with meetings, scheduling, and other necessary facilitation. We also prepare written proposals and gift agreement materials according to the company’s policies and procedures.

Core tasks:

  • evaluate and make recommendations for appropriate event invitations
  • plan and execute receptions, dinners, community activities, and small events
  • develop a clear strategy and objectives for each event
