DOPE Magazine debuted in 2011 and distributed its first issue to HEMPFEST attendees in Seattle. Via the monthly print publications, digital channel, social media handles, and activities, it has helped to normalize cannabis. It is a diverse community with a wide variety of experiences, ambitions, passion projects, and lifestyles. Knitters, skiers, yogis, singers, pet rescuers, gamers, Seattle Sounders fans, and, of course, dog lovers make up the majority of the community. The four-legged friends are often seen wandering around the office. The team's diverse backgrounds in design, journalism, sales, event production, finance, and videography enable it to provide with a wide range of news, videos, and events.
