 Dotcom Account Manager

REVENUE GROWTH RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Competition - takes ownership of reviewing competitor websites (Lowes, Amazon, Uhaul, UBoxes, etc)

·         Customer - tries to figure out ways to understand consumer behavior (e.g. surveys, product reviews, in-store intercepts, forums, etc)

·         Traffic - figures out ways to drive traffic to the moving supplies section of HomeDepot.com and HDMoving.com

o    SEO / Site Search - dig into data to understand key search terms using tools such as Moz, SEMRush, etc

o    Taxonomy / Navigation Suggestions - gain as much fair share as HomeDepot.com traffic as possible by learning how the customer looks for our products on their platform

o    Paid Search - help create ad angles to attract the right target audience

o    Social - create ideas on ways to drive social channels for HD products

·         Average Order Value - figure out out to drive up-sell / cross-sell / bundles that help the customer meet their goal of moving without too many trips

·         Conversion Rate 

o    Content - images, videos and written product descriptions that are best in class

o    Relevance - ensure content matches what people are looking for

o    Pricing - suggest pricing changes based on data from website and competition

o    Promotions - are there certain promotions and key time periods that would drive incremental GM$

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Own and manage the day to day merchant/buyer relationship

·         Own and manage the day to day with the customer Brand Advocate

·         Grow ecommerce YOY sales based on company and account targets

·         Work cross functionally with store and ecommerce teams to create 1 customer experience

·         Work and align goals with Pratt Retail national account team

·         Model and test services related to product assortment

·         Ongoing analysis to review and optimize product assortment

·         Work with internal teams to update, create assets, copy, and marketing materials to stay with current market trends

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
