I started working at driveline and immediately started getting hassled about getting work done that Had just been given to me. They were giving you work that people before hadn't finished like 2 months before. And then they would hassle me every single day to get it done. And when I will go into the store i would get yelled at by the managers of the stores. Because somebody messed up something before me. It was a really bad work environment. I never got a raise. I worked with them for 2 years and when i had an issue they would take jobs away from me and give them to people who were not finishing the work

Pros and Cons
None it was hard and they were mean
Alot i would never work for this company again

If you like putting things neatly in a row, you'll enjoy this job. The job is merchandising projects in retail stores. You are given a set amount of time to complete the project. I have found these times to be unrealistic and I can rarely get them done in that time frame. You may request to get paid for the extra time, but you have to explain why it took you that long. Also, you may drive to a store only to find the store has completed the project in which case you don't get paid. Or the project materials are not there, in which case you only get paid 15 minutes which may not even cover the cost of your gas and certainly not your time. The work can also be frustrating when the materials are not correct or you don't have the tools you need to do the job.

Pros and Cons
Flexible schedule
Pay is poor and may not get paid for all time worked

I loved working as a merchandiser. I just didn't care for the company. If i had a better company to work for, then most likely i would still be working as a merchandiser. If you are looking for a steady paycheck as a merchandiser, don't look here.

Pros and Cons
Some days you work late, some days you get off early, weekends off
Not enough hours, don't care about employees, barely pays by the mile

I really enjoyed this job, there just wasn't enough work to compensate all the miles I was driving. Each of my assigned stores were at least 25 miles apart and milage pay wasn't available unless they were 30 miles or more.

Lowest pay of any merchandising company I’ve found. 3+ years and never received a raise. When I asked for a raise I was told I could resign if I wasn’t happy with my current rate. They would rather replace a skilled long term employee with inexperienced cheap labor than give a well deserved, long overdue pay increase. Doesn’t pay for drive time at all, mileage only after 30 miles. No bonuses or perks of any kind. Does offer a 401k plan with no company match or contribution. High turnover rate. Lose contracts to other companies frequently due to amount of work that goes past due and incomplete.

Pros and Cons
Flexible schedule, local territory, extra work available in other territories
Low pay, no benefits, no perks, no acknowledgment or appreciation

I really enjoy working at Dollar Generals. These days the managers are so excited and happy to see me because of the unemployment rate right now and the fact Driveline, in my area at least, do not have many reps. Due to that is partially because of covid but also because they only pay $10 per hour which is also the reason I'm looking for a different job sadly.

Pros and Cons
Flexible schedule, management is great
Not enough pay

There is no PTO at Driveline unless you are a DM or higher on the food chain. All employment at DL is part time. They offer insurance and 401k. If you take time off you don’t get paid. They will however work you 60 hours a week all year long if you want, but you still remain a PT employee. I have no idea how they get away with this but they do it.
I guess since it’s a flexible workplace, there must be a good work life balance
