About Driver Manager

What does a Driver Manager do?

As Driver Managers, we manage records of personnel, expenditures, and of government rules and driving regulations. We also coordinate with transportation staff and authorities on PUC, DMV certificates, and in case of accidents, and assess buses and drivers, manage maintenance and arrange for quality inspections when necessary. We also develop genuine and supportive relations with the company's drivers on a personal and professional level and collaborate with other divisions to help them solve their problems in order to boost the company's morale. We keep track of driver hours and miles in coordination with Load Planners to achieve maximum productivity in given hours.

Core tasks:

  • arrange for periodical inspections of every vehicle in use
  • enhance the company's output by staying up-to-date with the latest managing technologies
  • adhere to all federal norms for revenue generation
