The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation is a company which was founded in 1841 with its headquarters based in Short Hills, a community in Millburn, New Jersey, United States. The company offers commercial data, analytics, and insights for businesses and also offers a wide range of products and services for risk and finance, operations and supply. It traces its history back to July 20, 1841, with the creation of The Mercantile Agency in New York City by Lewis Tappan which was later known as R.G. Dun & Company. Dun merged with competitor John M. Bradstreet in 1933 to form today’s Dun & Bradstreet. The vision of the company is to build a global network of trust which enables clients to turn uncertainty into confidence, risk into opportunity, and potential into prosperity. The family of Dun & Bradstreet is Data-Inspired, Relentlessly Curious and Inherently Generous and the values of the company are the constant touchstone of their community which guides their behaviour and anchors their decisions.
