Good first start, the pay was okay at the time, this was during covid so we all had to wear masks which was annoying but manageable, as a solid introduction into the workforce, this is definitely a good start.

Pros and Cons
Free lunch, chill staff.
If not an early riser, consider the afternoons.

I’ve only had positive experiences when working with Dunkin. Between the staff and Management they were always respectful and helpful with anything you needed. Whether learning something new that you weren’t sure how to do, they were right there to make sure you knew exactly how to do the job the right way. There is always room to grow if that’s what people are wanting to do and I’ve always appreciated how loyal and focused on doing the best job they can and teaching people the right way they want the job done. And there’s nothing more rewarding than when you do a good job and it causes the customers to always come back to want you to assist them!

Pros and Cons
Working with people all day. Get to eat and try new foods. And just working with great staff!
If ever needed to call out unexpectedly it’s hard to find coverage sometimes!

I loved working with the people but it was just one employee that made working there a drain and when you make a complaint to the manager and nothing is done because she is scared of the employees then I knew it was time for me to quit

Pros and Cons
The customers
nothing was free except for water that wasn’t free either because you had to pay for the cup

If you want to be underpaid, micro managed, watched on camera, not able to make any decisions unless asking for permission then this is the job for you! Oh and they may be the cheapest people I’ve ever witnessed in the restaurant world. After checking what other groups pay Dunkin district managers this group is way under everyone else. Also they make you work 6 days a week and expect you to work from your phone and home constantly. Best thing was them telling me I wasn’t a good fit! Because I was miserable!! Cocky, arrogant people. Stay in Detroit.

When I worked here, the manager was in another country. There was no regulation of any sorts, the associates had a group chat on snapchat to figure out who would be working when. That ended with me and another associate working open-close, seven days a week, and sometimes other associates would clock in to sit there and watch us. There were huge health and safety issues (cleaners, cockroaches) but because most of the DD owners in the valley were related, we were supposed to hide things bc we knew when the health inspector was coming. We told the manager about the growing cockroach problem and got no help, which is when I quit.

Pros and Cons
free food, no regulation
no regulation, disgusting

I’ve worked here for a little while now & was never appreciated for all of the overtime and hard work i’ve done. The Store manager there texted me some very nasty text messages telling me she doesn’t care if i leave and that no one at the job likes me, it should be illegal to even be a store manager and say that stuff and treats the employees very poorly. She went against policy and hired her family, didn’t care that it bothered anyone. The rules aren’t followed at this store at all. It’s a mess and nothing is getting done about it!

Pros and Cons
Not many pros from my experience
Parking is limited, Management is disgusting and very unprofessional to employees. No rules followed

This is a very sad company. Run by money hungry people who don’t care about their employees. The service is shown by the employees they hire. There is no work ethic or follow through. The manager is only there because they have been there the longest. I will never eat or drink there again.

As a young person I felt like I was not respected as an employee by any managers that I had. There are workers and managers that are very hateful, envious, and rude. Also, managers will disregard the days or shifts that you tell them you are not available to work.

Most of the employees are great, very comfortable to be around; then u got the employer, and possibly the worst manager I’ve had so far I’ve had. The environment with the management around is intense and very quick. 315 US-206 location is a drive thru and dine in location, meanwhile the kitchen and coffee stations are a legit pivot away from each other, no room for fellow big people. A clear line is supposed to be followed but this location is always under heavy pressure from customers because it’s on a highway, and because of that we are all running around trying to complete orders. It was incredibly unorganized. Usually that was in the mornings; afternoons , especially after the Managment leaves is usually awesome, no more tension in the air and we’d get all casual. Not as unorganized and comfortable.

Pros and Cons
Free coffee ( sucks if u don’t drink it) ;free cream cheese bagels
Intense morning environment, rude manager

Just like any other job when they need u they're calling u & when they don't they don't. this experience with Dunkin Donut was not really ➕ if I got into details it would be more than 1000 characters. Supervisors, managers, general managers no one really has any authority when it comes to knowing what to do all the time alot of times. when they see a worker that's actually a good worker they mistreat them by taking advantage of them. in the store I was in i got no recognition until i was ready to go. it was located on a 181st. there's a BP/DDs there. that Dunkin Donuts manager's name is Juan he's a good manager,,, just has no backbone. can't speak up for himself or his workers. But if you want the hours u can always do as many as u can in 1 store & jump 2 another store as much as u can work,, u can do. Funny part they'll pay you 4 doing all that extra footwork on ur part, but they won't give you overtime in 1 store ?? it's really retarded how things work w DDs. pay sux always.

Pros and Cons
there's always work
no benefits, no 401k, no incentives

I loved it there. Unfortunately for my job/shift there were only 3 people so time off/calling out was impossible and if someone did then you were alone doing it all yourself. It was a laid back atmosphere, decent pay, and you got recognition for your work.

Free doughnuts and coffee

I worked at that location for almost 6 months. The owner and his family wasn’t nice at all. They keep showing up and each one of them has his or her own rules. Working there was very confusing. I learned some of the company’s guidelines from the manager, but the owners of this location taught me their rules and every time I say something they replied by “we do this before the inspection only”.

Pros and Cons
One free meal per shift .
Confusing rules.

This places uses people. I never knew when you were a manager that your job would be calling all day and consume your whole life. They call you on your days off to fix problems at a store that isn't yours. Never had time with my kids. Had to always be working. Go into work at 2am get done at my assigned store around 1 or 2pm. Then be called to go to another managers store and help them because my district manager could not work our systems. I had to train him in things and he was my superior. So many hours extra spent at work or on the phone teaching the newest DM how to do his job. My pay stubs said I only was paid for 40 hours but I was required to pull 50 hours as a manager. But you can ask my children they'll tell you I was never home because i was always at work. I pulled at least 80 plus hours a week. I took care of my store. Help 2 to 3 newer managers on a regular basis cause my DM couldn't do it. Oh I have so much more to say but I'm cut off at 100 words.

Pros and Cons
Realizing after 6 yrs i waited to long to be gone but I had peace after that
