I was in the same role on the client delivery side for years. I had reached the top limit for my salary range. To get a raise, I would have had to start managing people (as a resource manager). That doesn't even make sense when my forte is working with clients.

As a consultant, you move from project to project and city to city. Travel was definitely necessary, and sometimes temporarily relocation was necessary. I easily met many peers in the company and work with them on large projects. I also established good working relationships with clients that lasted after the project was over.

DXC DOESN'T TREAT IT'S EMPLOYEES WELL. We worked in TX Yet,our manager was in CANADA! Manager didn't care if we took care of our Customers, Just wanted us to do what he told us to do.

There's truth in that. Working with a team of Architects and business partners turned out to be a nice team.

This company was suppose to be my retirement story to tell my grandkids but that didn't happen. This company went through 3 CEO's from when I started back in 1999 to 2020 when I got rifted. I loved my job up until the 2nd CEO started to downsize, delayer and ultimately outsource my job and the rest of our HR department overseas to India. Covid 19 was also a contributing factor. After receiving I thought were good performance apprasials for the last 21 years, the CEO stopped all increases in salaries for most of the company for the last 9-10 years, I believe he did this to please the stock holders to keep the bottom line where the CFO wanted it to be. I would not recommend DXC Technology to any perspective employees looking to find their career there.

I was with then before, when they were CSC, and after they became DXC. Not much seems to have changed.

Bad leadership, very poor wotking environment. Some good people, but they got rid of the best, most experienced. To put it in perspective, they got rid of solid performers with 25 years plus experience and replaced them with a bunch of 25 year olds who know very little.

No chance for advancement jobs moving to India no reason seven years people are great companies good better position would’ve been nice

This company can't get out of it's own way. Sort of a me too approach to business practices .. plays follow the leader to whatever business fad is printed in the WSJ.

This company was mostly a good experience. Unfortunately they just don't pay a liveable wage. The management could be more supportive, and the HR department was in Texas, with very little communication.

Great coworkers, project managers and good projects to learn on IT industry. No opportunities to growth as professional in medium term.
