We early childhood special education teachers administer special education testing and assessment. We are responsible for assessing student unique needs, their skill levels and functional capabilities that better defines them. We also modify lessons and standard curriculum to align with student functionality and accommodate them. We as well co-teach under integrated learning environments. We have a duty to meet with parents discuss goals and evaluate progress realized. Creating and materials and plans to support teaching is also, our responsibility as early childhood special education teachers. We help children with motor skills by advising their parents the best way to work with them.
