With its main campus at Portales, New Mexico, Eastern New Mexico University is a public university that was inaugurated in 1934 and is one of the most comprehensive and distinguished state university of New Mexico. The university also houses two associate degree-granting wings in Ruidoso and Rosewell. The university is a member of the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities and offers a total of 60 bachelor’s, master’s, and associate degrees in the areas of business administration, psychology, accounting, aviation, and more. Students hailing from 36 countries and 48 states enrolled in the university in Fall 2020 with more than one-third of students being male and others female. With a faculty to student ratio of 17 to 1 and a student satisfaction percentage of 97, the university also houses museums including Miles Mineral Museum, Roosevelt County Museum, and more.
