Was a nice plant to work at, very professional. We had our office off site and was a little bit of a pain getting in and out but was ok.

I worked at Eastman Chemical Company for 46 years. Eastman enabled me to grow both personally and professionally.

Began as a lab chemist and worked way up to manager of product safety and stewardship. Learned and executed a lot in the area of customer service and process improvement. Was a key leadership in launching a new product regulatory business venture. Managed and mentored a staff of 13 professionals from chemists to engineers. Was an exemplary team leader and builder of teams to execute goals and missions. Worked with outside regulatory agencies such as OSHA and EPA to bring new and existing products to new markets safely and legally. Worked cross functionally with many organizations including customer service and support, business development, legal, plant manufacturing and operations, logistics, and marketing and communications.

This place is a double standard place never was accepted as an employee cause the 2 machinist there did what they wanted harassing other employees constantly and bully tactics that one of them show up to work drunk and company does not care about their employees

Eastman has a standard for employee core values, however management do not abide by those. Do not point out any problems with coworkers or management because of reprimand. Can be toxic and hostile environment.
