Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) is a geotechnical, construction materials, environmental, and facilities engineering firm that was founded in 1988. Our objective at the period was to raise the bar for research and consulting engineering by hiring industry experts who recognized the challenges of constructing modern infrastructures. Our company's growth can be seen in a variety of industries. Our steady growth stems from a strong conviction in the importance of investing in the people, systems, and skills needed to deliver on client needs. ECS also operates over 70 branches and research centers across the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, Southeast, and Southwest, employing over 2,000 people. In Engineering News-Top Record's 500 Designing firms, ECS is currently ranked 68 and 200 Environmental Firms (ENR, July 2020).
