Edinburg Regional Medical Center

The hospital is fully equipped and technologically advanced yet small enough to give individual attention. The facility provides a CAP Certified Laboratory and Accredited Chest Pain Center and is a Level IV Trauma Designation. Edinburg Children's Hospital is a 107-bed, the freestanding pediatric hospital that opened adjacent to ERMC in March 2006. The first of its kind in South Texas, Edinburg Children's Hospital features a four-story pediatric tower, a dedicated pediatric emergency department, specialty pediatric services, and advanced technology, including the Valleys first 32-slice CT and radio fluoroscopy room. To increase capabilities, some resources are shared between Edinburg Children's Hospital and Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
