Edward Jones creates a great working envoirnment. You get your own branch office with overhead paid, benefits and oportunities for advancement eventually. Their main focus was to invest client's money in to one of seven mutual fund companies that the firm has a special relationship with. They are very careful to help clients pay as liitle as possible for their investment choices and the oversight of what advisors advise their clients to invest in is closely monitored. Over all a great firm.

Pros and Cons
Great Support, promotional vacation trips to exotic places, opportunity to become a partner
You give up a lot of your compensation to cover the overhead, Push sale of favored mutual funds
