Job Description

Description This individual will support the learning and development needs of the organization by designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining eLearning and virtual training sessions that meet organizational goals and needs. Supports LMS Administrator and team members in the effective operation and utilization of the learning platform and learning portal. Facilitates virtual training sessions.Specific Duties Include:

  • Partner with the Learning and Development team and subject matter experts to determine and manage the eLearning and virtual training project pipeline.
  • Design and develop SCORM compliant eLearning solutions, utilizing professional and effective instructional design methods.
  • Develop storyboards and scripts for eLearning and virtual live training.
  • Revise and/or maintain eLearning content.
  • Upload and configure eLearning content into LMS.
  • Create and maintain professional training materials that support eLearning and virtual training.
  • Collaborate and communicate proactively with subject matter experts and appropriate resources to create quality content, most effective delivery methods, receive approval of training content, and evaluate results.
  • Facilitate virtual training sessions.
  • Partner with the Learning Portal Administrator, assisting with functions of the Learning Portal, including working with managers and team members, updating materials and resources, data input and analysis, scheduling courses and classes, tracking registrations, maintaining a training calendar, running reports, etc.
  • Partner with managers to keep team members on track and ensure completion of required eLearning programs.
  • Acts as a liaison between eLearning vendors and RDO Equipment Co., ensuring appropriate and full use of our resources.
  • Assist Learning and Development team members in partnering with manufacturing partner systems (JDU, Vermeer, etc.) and contacts to manage processes relevant to RDO team members certification and learning requirements.
  • Participate in development opportunities to increase skills levels and improve overall delivery of eLearning and virtual training.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
  • Conduct self in the presence of stakeholders to present a professional image of RDO Equipment Co.
  • Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including open book meetings, huddles, department meetings and other related efforts.
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Requirements
  • Strong design and development skills using appropriate and creative technologies. 2-5 years demonstrated experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise with eLearning technologies (authoring tools, media editing, etc. Articulate experience preferred).
  • Experience integrating with a learning management system including SCORM compliant files and troubleshooting SCORM issues.
  • Experience developing professional training materials.
  • Experience in audio/narration and editing.
  • Ability to effectively interview resources to determine eLearning needs and communicate to throughout the design, development, and implementation of process.
  • Ability to effectively present information in a clear manner, demonstrate concepts or processes, and respond to questions.
  • Ability to deliver virtual led learning to various audiences and skill levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a professional and timely manner.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high degree of initiative, creativity, motivation, and self-direction. Continually seeks to improve the quality of work.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret information and data and translate into easily understood language.
  • Ability to interact and partner with team members at all levels in the organization and externally.
