Elmcroft Senior Living Company Reviews and Ratings
Resident Services Director
Lebanon, PA - September 1, 2024
I worked for Elmcroft for almost five years. Initially it was a wonderful company with high value for the employees. Within a year of working there that went down the drain. Bonuses became impossible to achieve, as a salaried 40 hr per week employee I was easily working 60 plus hours, basically was on call 24/7, and the documentation aspect became a full time job, but I was still expected to be a nurse for the patients, which is what I wanted to be. I took a steep pay cut to get out!!
Pros and Cons
It was a great learning experience
do not staff to a ratio staff per patient that fits the census of the building

Wow, thanks for sharing this! I'm curious, have things improved recently or is the workload still that overwhelming?

No one cares to help the workers with anything. The management are very rude. Always blaming things on the coworkers

Bad management

Housekeeper

I was last housekeeper there and maintenance and helped in dining room. They hired two new housekeepers for me to train. I kept getting complaints on one and the other was a man and he said housekeeping was a woman’s job. Don’t know why he applied for the job. This was back in 2013 so maybe it has gotten better.
Pros and Cons
Resident people were very friendly and some employees were friendly. Plenty of parking.
There was not enough employees so you have to be able to fill in the kitchen and maintenance .
