Everyone upfront complained about it, and everyone in the office was annoyed by it. The management and team were kind and amazing then suddenly they switched to new management with Atrium and the whole place went down hill. I think it was over the hill when I got there, I used to work there as a Houseman and it behind the scenes it was really nasty. Before I even started there, the whole team jokingly would say “Embassy, the deception of elegance”. Do I still feel like Hilton is the right place to be? They fire people at the drop of the hat with zero write ups, which is low key intimidating for everyone. They have zero benefits at most locations, I got lucky to start at embassy when I did because they had benefits at the time. If you want to work for hilton at all, don’t work front desk. You take on all the blame and risk getting fired all the time while you have to stand still at your “pod” all day long. It hurts, everyone laughs at it, especially the rich.

Pros and Cons
Meal tickets and Hilton Go Discounts
Angry forced to stand, Atrium Management, Grimy in places where the guest is not

I loved the people I worked with! And they claimed they promote from within, so therefore I worked my hardest and did work above and beyond as a supervisor would do. They ended up hiring several people with zero experience in which Case ended up training and when asked for a position of some sort bring a "front desk Trainor" I got shot down. Supervisors came and went, they didn't have the experience I had yet nothing was ever done to recognize that.

Pros and Cons
Not sure, I waited for a promotion from within being that I trained everyone.
The list is a bit too long. Communication and organization is a huge key for this company to work on

I worked for embassy suites / Marriott hotel when it was HVMG. I don’t know if it still is called that. I cleaned and changed eerie motors to Hvac systems in guest rooms so they could have heat and cold air. Repaired room phone , holes in walls doors , upgraded key lock on guest room doors, painted doors , wall, and hallways. Stairways, kept a log book of my daily activities. Help other departments as requested really a great job. I resigned due to moving conditions I would love to be apart of this family again.

Pros and Cons
Learning handy manual skills and applying them to everyday life.
Being polite to rude customers
