Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) is a private university which centers on aviation and aerospace programs. It was established on December 17,1925 by John Paul Riddle and Talton Higbee Embry at Lunken Airport in Cincinnati, Ohio. It became a nonprofit in 1959 and was awarded university status in 1968 and changed its name to today’s name in 1970. The company started its worldwide program the same year and established a second residential campus in Prescott, Arizona, in 1978. It is the supreme accredited university system which has numerous online programs and academic programs provided at satellite locations with its main campus located in Daytona Beach, Florida and Prescott, Arizona, United States. ERAU hosts a variety of aviation-focused short-courses and all courses are offered in a classroom taught by industry experts. It is ranked 11th as one of the supreme regional universities according to the U.S. News and World Report 2020 along with that it stands in the 4th rank as one of the supreme colleges for veterans.
