About Enrollment Specialist

What does an Enrollment Specialist do?

As Enrolment Specialists, we are responsible for receiving inbound phone calls from customers, and assisting them with any inquiries they may have related to enrolment, eligibility, and authorization by accurately identifying customer needs and taking appropriate action. We document all incoming calls following guidelines for handling customer data to identify the eligibility criteria. We also analyze data from several sources to determine eligibility changes in order to resolve errors. Additionally, we engage with providers, health plan partners, and internal departments to resolve eligibility issues. We also facilitate the tracking of digital advertising campaigns from dealer opt-in through all stages.

Core tasks:

  • proactively contact and respond to prospective individuals via telephone, email and SMS
  • assess and qualify prospects to determine if Walden University programs meet the academic and professional goals of prospective applicants
  • ability to establish rapport and build relationships via phone in a high-volume call environment
  • track record of achieving measurable results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven department
