About Environmental Specialist

What does an Environmental Specialist do?

As Environmental Specialists, we oversee many field examination procedures and report any hazardous materials and locations in accordance with pre-established regulations. We maintain, manage, and update the company’s information systems to identify the location of hazardous sites, chemical inventories, and complaint investigations. We also develop and recommend new solutions to reduce and eliminate pollution and environmental hazards while designing and implementing effective employee training programs. We collect and analyze test samples of food, soil, water, and air while performing in-depth research and report our findings on the current environmental conditions.

Core tasks:

  • prepare detailed written reports about field inspections
  • implement and develop new spill prevention programs and hazardous waste regulations
