About Environmental Technician

What does an Environmental Technician do?

As Environmental Technicians, we are the experts in environmental sciences. We are tasked with monitoring the impact of a population on the atmosphere and finding environmental issues. Finally, we are responsible for recommending solutions to the environmental problems. The expected output of our role is to enhance the living circumstances of the environment. We work in power and chemical plants. Our role also involves designing employee training programs and performing field inspections. It is also our duty to prepare comprehensive reports after analyzing completing trials.

Core tasks:

  • monitoring field trials and reporting hazardous sites and materials
  • maintaining management information systems that detect chemical inventories, hazardous sites, and complaint surveys
  • developing and recommending solutions to remove pollution and air hazards
  • designing and implementing staff training programs
  • collecting and analyzing test samples of soil, food, air, and water
