What does an EPIC Ambulatory Analyst do?

As epic ambulatory analysts, we handle the designing and testing of EpicCare ambulatory apps. We also implement and maintain the software. We analyze the system to meet the programming procedures. We are responsible for maintaining training regulations. We build the clinical workflows and create the software development for the healthcare system. We test the software and install the updates. Our duties include modifying the applications with clinical needs. We also prepare reports on how programs change. We make the application updates and software. We work in the healthcare industry. Some of us also provide support and write down the documentation.

Core tasks:

  • improving the IT applications and systems
  • communicating with the management and stakeholders
  • ensuring compliance with system and data protection
