What does an EPIC Trainer do?

As EPIC Trainers, we conduct clinical software training classes for the workforce. We conceptualize training materials strategies, initiatives, and materials based on their needs and determine which delivery method will facilitate learning the most. We are also responsible for maintaining a central database on practice management applications such as users, locations, scheduling systems, and automated encounter forms. We set training schedules and review expectations with the group, staff, and leadership.

Core tasks:

  • create and updates resources to train and support learners on how to use the technology for online and professional development
  • assist in developing quality metrics to measure
  • asses essential revenue cycle functions
  • provide status reports and updates on time throughout the project
