The Electric Railway Improvement Company (ERICO) was established in 1903 to supply railroads, mining, and street railway industries with power bonds, signal bonds, and related welding equipment. For the next 112 years, the company grew and prospered by introducing capabilities and brands that were important to their core business, as well as encouraging expansion through forays into new markets. ERICO Global Company joined the Pentair family in 2015, and Pentair's electrical division became nVent in 2018. nVent is now a leading global producer and marketer of high-quality engineered goods for specialized electrical, mechanical, and concrete applications. By simplifying installation and reducing downtime during service, they assist customers in increasing efficiency and lowering their total cost of ownership. Industrial, oil, residential & commercial, and infrastructure are among the industries served by their product portfolio.
