I worked in 3 groups for this company: (1) Devops (actually a fair amount of Ruby/Rails and Git-handling code); (2) An ill-fated PL/1 to Java compiler development server (3) Robot framework testing 1) I did this part without incident and it worked fine 2) this part I learned the compiler development tool ANTLR4 Unfortunately it was shut down for being uneconomic to finish as the project lead insisted on too much hand coding to go with the ANTLR4 generated code. If I had been earlier on the project I could have pointed out to them that they didn't really need to convert PL/1 to Java as RS/6000 servers work fine. 3) robot framework A new (apparently very insecure) manager was brought on after that. I was laid off shortly thereafter .... oh well

I became a Technical Trainer for Ericsson back in 2013, and was performing TMO civil training to the crews performing the work in the field. 2014/2015 I spent the majority of my time on the road, performing training in different states training for TMO, and Verizon. In 2016, Ericsson decided to invest in training centers so the crews could come to us, as well as providing hands on training on indoor towers, and integration labs with equipment being deployed in the field for various clients. We were also responsible to develop the training material/presentations/tests being used in the classes so the student can become "factory authorized" by Ericsson with a 1 year certification for the class they attended.

I developed as a team leader, with a good growth opportunity, Ericsson at the time decided to eliminate high-paying engineers and hire recent graduates. So I'm very sorry that Ericsson Mexico is so square. Considering that since then wages have dropped significantly.

Pros and Cons
Excellent benefits including major medical expenses,Very good savings bank
Its offices in Mexico are not adequately supervised by Europe.
