About Escrow Officer

What does an Escrow Officer do?

As Escrow Officers, we complete real estate escrow transactions. We determine requirements, processing, and distributing closing documents, and disbursing funds. Determine escrow requirements by clarifying buyer, seller, and lender instructions is our job. We resolve title defects and coordinate encumbrances against property or sellers. Establishing escrow accounts, handling escrow funds, and maintaining records are our duties. We prepare transaction documents by completing forms and statements. We complete calculations for prorating taxes and interest. It is our duty to assemble documents and review documents. We answer questions and check documents for completeness.
