About Esthetics Instructor

What does an Esthetics Instructor do?

As esthetics instructors, we teach students about the practices of waxing, tweezing, skincare, body treatments, and makeup application. Our responsibilities include adapting and learning the course curriculum, instructing students on the various skills regarding cosmetology. We grade work, set tests, and mentor students. Motivating and teaching students in the classroom and directing students to facilitate mini-classes and clinic floor learning are also our duties. Some of us establish a professional atmosphere in the classroom that ignites civil engagement and mutual respect. We convey the essential elements of the course that students must master.

Core tasks:

  • working productively in a team environment along with other faculty
  • performing the essential duties of an instructor to assure quality instruction
  • overseeing final practical tests and examinations
