About Estimator

What does an Estimator do?

As estimators, it is our main responsibility to gather and analyze data that will help us to estimate the money, materials, labor, and time required for a project. Our job requires us to work on the construction sites and with the engineers, architects, and clients. We make a recommendation on the cost, time, and labor expected to be spent on a project and we also look for ways on how costs can be reduced. We understand the scope of the project and ensure the timely completion of the project.

Core tasks:

  • preparing estimates and purchase orders for the project
  • preparing a detailed cost analysis
  • maintaining relationships with subcontractors and vendors
