GAME DAY ATTENDANT

THE ROLE The role will report to the Staffing Manager and will primarily assist with event day duties as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Assist employees in clocking and clocking out.
• Help direct employees, temporary workers, and NPO's to assigned locations.
• Launder, organize and distribute uniforms.
• Collect uniforms at the end of the event.
• Set up and break down check in areas, employee meals, and other areas as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Must be able to work long periods of time with constant standing, walking, and lifting.
• Must be able to remain calm under stressful situations.
• Must be able to smile, maintain positive body language, and consistently provide positive guest service.
• Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to effectively listen and take direction from supervisor.

About the Event Attendant role
Entertainment Attendants Event Attendant
As Event Attendants, we work as ushers to ensuring that seating arrangements adhere to fire code regulations and operate cash registers. We also unload equipment from trucks and setting up venues for events including building stages and placing chairs. We work under the supervision of the event manager to ensure that the event halls are clean and organized and adhering to event safety standards. We also assume the role of Ticket Taker whenever needed, and welcome guests to the vent, set up the lighting and sound equipment, and dispense important and useful information to the vent-goers.
Core tasks:
- ensure excellent levels of customers service to increase referrals and build a loyalty
- inspect equipment for damage after use and log it in the inventory list
- pack up, and store the equipment after the event is completed
