The Role

The Event Marketing Manager will help manage and execute our proprietary user conference along with our marquee industry trade show and field events. You will enable our sales and BDR teams to drive pipeline and promote registration through our events while working closely with the event marketing team to build a world class experience for our customers and prospects. You will be expected to reach campaign goals & metrics and report on the success and return of each. This position demands a robust set of skills including creative flair, attention to detail, being a team player, project management and organization abilities, and an outgoing personality.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE

  • Own and execute all event logistics for producing trade shows including: booth design, sales enablement, executive meetings/schedule, internal attendance, collateral, shipping, etc. 
  • Manage relationships with internal partner team and ISV partners on our sponsorship program for user conference (contract facilitation, prospectus, promotional kit deadlines) 
  • Enable sales teams and sales leadership on events and bill of materials in order to make events successful 
  • Oversee event and trade show marketing collateral design, giveaway development and shipping to/from locations 
  • Manage overall event campaign execution; Pre-During-Post Show, including Salesforce campaigns, defining and executing pre-show campaigns, coordinating with sales & BDRs to supplement driving event attendance, etc 
  • Manage attendee inquiries for user conference through registration platform 
  • Manage event budget and track vendor expenditures effectively 
  • Successfully project manage multiple campaigns and tasks at any given time and length 
  • Travel: ~25% Travel  

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

  • 3-4 years of experience in event management (tradeshows, conferences)  
  • BA/BS from 4 year university, marketing or communications degree preferred 
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written skills 
  • Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, event software (Certain software preferred) 
  • Metrics driven approach to event management
