About Event Technician

What does an Event Technician do?

As Event Technicians, we are responsible for setting up and operating the event’s AV equipment such as video monitors, microphones, projectors, speakers, and video cameras. We assemble the equipment and support structures before the event, ensure that everything works fine during the event, and breaking them down when the event is over. We also work with the client’s marketing team to place signs or banners inside and around the event area to gather more guests.

Core tasks:

  • handle sound/visual equipment during live events
  • maintain the discrepancy logs as required
  • ensure that the AV equipment is ready to be used at all times
