About Exam Proctor

What does an Exam Proctor do?

As Exam Proctors, we are responsible for supervising the testing of many students at testing centers. We keep the exams secure until the student begins the tests. We meet regularly with the exam coordinator to ensure compliance with all requirements. Following all testing procedures and strictly adhering to company policies is also a part of our duty. We send instructions to future examiners on how to access the online proctoring service. Working as Exam Proctors, we are responsible for following the regular checklist to ensure all protecting services are available. We organize test papers after the exam. Finally, we follow the checklist to admit examiners to the examination environment.

Core tasks:

  • preparing the examination room and test materials before the exam
  • making sure that the testing environment is suitable for students
  • maintaining the academic integrity of the test
  • indicating the time during tests so students can allocate their time wisely
