Management has open door policy. They looked after the agents very well, support given from Team Leads and Supervisors were available when needed. Ongoing training for personal and corporate growth.

Working at Expedia was one of the best career experiences. The management team was awesome and supportive. The fun environment between co - workers & management. The recognition received made me work harder. We had one of the best teams throughout the travel industry, we were all close & loved our Friday potluck days, where everyone made their dishes & all departments came together. The departments weren't separated, We were one, all departments came together. If Expedia were to open up again in Vegas. I would probably go back to work

Extremely difficult to earn commissions since required to sell a high percentage of sales calls.If you take a lot of calls it works against you as almost 40 percent of calls coming on sales line are actually customer service calls. Many times sold over $100,00 in sales yet earn d no commissions , no incentive to make a lot of sales.

Little support from supervisors. Very poor system to earn bonuses.Favourtism shown by supervisors. Not open to suggestions to make workplace better.

Started working for Travelscape in 1998 and that was purchased by Expedia. Loved being on the ground floor of the growth of the company. My position was eliminated Twice. I would not go back.

Pros and Cons
They often have free food and many office events.
Eliminate your position or move your divison.

I was denied bonuses on regular basis due to the unfair bonus system,as I took too many calls which lowered my metrics to receive bonuses on sales which were consistently over $100,000.
